Melissa B. Hernandez is a Realtor in Southern California and an advocate for St. Jude Horse Rescue. Being introduced to horses and all the wonderful elements horses offer, created her affection towards them. She is passionate about our mission as she values the important benefits people gain from rescuing horses and the therapeutic impact they provide to us.

Lissette F. Hernandez is a life-long animal and horse enthusiast.   As a child, she grew up with dogs (her faithful companions)- until the age of 18 when she was introduced to her first family horse.  She then began training race horses where her passion for horses flourished.  She dedicated herself to training and studied to receive a BS in Business Administration.  It became apparent to her the significant role that horses played in her life and decided to help the ones that needed it most- the neglected, abandoned or destined to slaughter.  St. Jude Horse Rescue was founded in 2016 with the intent to save horses from cruelty and provide opportunities for them to change people's lives.
