To rescue horses from neglect, abuse, abandonment, and the slaughter pipeline, providing them with lifelong care, compassion, and a safe forever home where they can heal and thrive.
Why Rescue?
Every year, thousands of American horses are neglected, abandoned, or sold into the slaughter pipeline. Many endure long and stressful journeys in overcrowded trailers before being shipped across international borders for slaughter. At St. Jude Horse Rescue, we believe every horse deserves dignity, compassion, and the opportunity for a second chance.
