Our Mission
To rescue horses from neglect, abuse, abandonment, and the slaughter pipeline, providing them with lifelong care, compassion, and a safe forever home where they can heal and thrive.
Why Rescue?
Every year, thousands of American horses are neglected, abandoned, or sold into the slaughter pipeline. Many endure long and stressful journeys in overcrowded trailers before being shipped across international borders for slaughter. At St. Jude Horse Rescue, we believe every horse deserves dignity, compassion, and the opportunity for a second chance.

We envision a future where every rescued horse is given the opportunity to heal and thrive, while inspiring hope, healing, and personal growth in others through equine-assisted activities.

Equine-assisted activities incorporate horses and the equine environment to promote personal growth, learning, and healing. These programs can provide meaningful benefits for individuals facing a variety of physical, emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
